Nelson Publishing is offering a 4 part entertainment business seminar series. We are kicking off the series with BOOK MARKETING EXPRESS, a 60 minute information session on book marketing techniques dedicated to self-published and aspiring authors.

LORI NELSON (Publisher/Author/Screenwriter/Producer)
Lori is a talented author and dedicated publisher of children's
books. Her book, Hillary's Big Business Adventure has not only been
introduced in several elementary schools nationally, but has also
appeared on CBN, NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, KABF FM 88.3 (Little Rock, AR),
and WBAI 99.5 FM (New York City). Apart from publishing, Lori was a
finalist in the 2008 Nickelodeon Writing Fellowship Lab Competition,
and the winner of the 2009 Allstate Insurance "Be Reel" Community Voice
Film Contest.

With over 8 years experience heading up marketing, events and PR for one of the largest African American bookstore chains in the country, Lee hosted over 600 events each year establishing strategic partnerships with institutions/organizations throughout the region. Lee is a host & sponsor for the annual Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Author Pavilion, the Baltimore Book Festival, and the Green Festival. She has worked with Victoria Rowell, Hill Harper, Dr. Maya Angelou, Dr. Cornel West and many others. Currently, she owns a marketing and PR firm, The Renaissance Group, LLC and is co-founder of the Black Book Coalition, a group that supports publishing industry professionals.
RYAN C. GREENE (Publisher/Author/Public Speaker)
Ryan is the CEO of GreeneHouse Media. He is an Inspirational
Trainer, Media Personality and bestselling author. Ryan hosts his own
monthly radio show, "The Ryan C. Greene Show" as well as co-hosts a
weekly show "Briefcase Radio" with Omar Muhammad on WEAA 88.9 FM in
Baltimore. He serves as the
Membership Coordinator for the Association of Black Media Workers;
Baltimore's chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists.
